What types of properties do you service?
At Aerial Install Scotland we mainly service domestic and commercial properties all across the UK.
What hours are your engineers available?
Our highly-qualified engineers are available from 8 am – 6 pm, Monday – Saturday. Our engineers occasionally carry out installations on Sundays, however, this is subject to our engineers’ availability in your local area.
Can you give me a quote?
We provide free quotes on all our services when you fill out our enquiry form with your details which are sent to our customer service team. Once the form is completed, one of our service agents will contact you to discuss all of your requirements and will arrange a suitable appointment

What if I don’t want a same-day installation?
We offer great flexibility when arranging installations to fit around your time. We’re able to attend your property on any chosen day, from Monday – Saturday. This does occasionally include our engineers working on Sundays, however, this is subject to our engineers’ availability in your local area.
Do I need to be in for my installation?
Yes, you will need to be present at your property when your installation has been arranged in order for our engineers to carry out the work.
Can I choose a specific time or day for my installation?
Yes, you are able to choose a specific time or day for any installation you wish to have carried out. Our friendly and professional customer service team will contact you to arrange a suitable appointment that works for you.
Can you tell me about your labour and parts warranty?
All new installations of any service are backed by our 1-3 year standard parts and labour warranty.
Customers are able to purchase an extended warranty period in twelve monthly increments, up to a maximum of 36 months. The extended warranty will only cover the installation carried out by the company, and parts we supply and will be separate from the manufacturer’s warranty on any equipment provided.
Can you tell me about your period of the guarantee?
Any equipment replaced or repaired during the guarantee period will remain in guarantee from the date of the original invoice.
The company will guarantee the following against faulty material and workmanship:
a) Satellite equipment received by the company, and its installation, twelve months from the date of the invoice unless stated otherwise.
b) UHF TV & DAB/VHF FM equipment received by the company and its installation, twelve months from the date of the invoice, unless stated otherwise.
Can you tell me about your Digital Switchover Compliance?
All our Aerial installations are backed by our Digital Switchover Compliance policy which involves switching from analogue TV to an advanced Digital TV service. The compliance ensures that customers are able to watch a variety of High Definition channels.
Our compliance meets the Confederation of Aerial Industries (CIA) standards to provide exceptional reception within all areas we service to.
Customers can expect to receive either both Freeview Digital Channels which are integrated into TV aerials that are installed, or Freesat, Sky, and European Digital Channels if Satellite TV dishes are installed.
Do you offer paper or non-electronic quotations?
Yes, we provide both paper and non-electronic quotations that we can send to your address.
Do you charge for hourly rate work or fixed price work?
Most of our installation services are set at a fixed price. However, there are some exceptions for when we need to investigate and test systems which can increase the rate due to our engineers spending more time on the required work.
We advise customers of our hourly rates, especially when more time is required on a job. Therefore, an installation is unable to be quoted as a fixed price.
Can a non-standard installation still be completed on the same day?
Yes, non-standard installations can be completed throughout the same day you have an installation booked.
How much does the 2-Year and 3-Year Extended Warranty cost?
Our 2-year warranty is priced at £75 and our 3-year warranty is £95.
Our commercial warranties are priced on application depending on the size of the system and the materials Aerialforce will need to warranty.
What are the conditions not included in the guarantee?
The warranty/guarantee does not cover:
a) Reception quality and conditions changing which are outside the companies control, which may be but not limited to, local buildings being erected, tree’s, cranes, maintenance of local transmitters, power cuts, lighting strikes/gale winds etc
b) Movement or damage caused by winds in excess of 60mph
c) Interference caused by local radio hams, citizen band radio, radar, electrical appliances or any other transmitting frequencies
d) Any repair, upgrades or alterations carried out by persons other than those employed or instructed to do so by the company
e) Retuning of receiving equipment due to alteration of channel frequencies.
f) Works carried out for the customer against the companies best recommendations. For example, installation of an aerial not suitable for the reception area.
The company will not be held liable for loss or damage caused by fire, theft, flood, riot, explosions, falling debree from aircraft, circumstances deemed as acts of God, lightning or damage beyond the supplier’s reasonable control or acts from third parties, criminal or not.
Does your free no obligation quotation policy apply to all your services?
Each installation service is different from each other, therefore we offer a free no obligation quotation policy with all our installation services.
However, this does not apply to our repair service as Aerialforce charge a minimum fee to investigate TV, Satellite & CCTV issues.
How does your same day installation service work?
Throughout the UK, we offer our same day installation service and can attend your property on the same day of your phone call. Our service agents can confirm that one of our engineers can carry out the work within 30 minutes of your call.
Can you tell me more about your engineers experience?
All our engineers have a minimum of five years experience in Aerial, Satellite, CCTV & Home Entertainment industry installations and repairs. We ensure that all our engineers have valid DBS checks for your safety when attending your property.
Do you offer same-day repair services?
Yes absolutely! We can always complete same-day repairs and fixes, subject to costs being agreed before the work starts.
Payment & Promotions
What Payment types do you accept?
We accept all card payments including Visa, MasterCard and Maestro along with cash payments.
How can I pay for my service?
Customers pay for their installation service after work is completed. For both credit/debit card, instantaneous bank transfers and cash payments, our engineers will collect payment afterwards.
By booking an appointment with Aerialforce or its associated companies, and where the engineer visits your property, you agree to any payments or prices quoted during your booking with our sales team.
At its sole discretion, the company may invoice the customer for any work carried out. All such invoices are strictly net and unless agreed with the customer, are due for payment within seven days of the date of invoice.
Do you offer any discounts or promotions?
On special occasions, we do offer discounts and special promotions on our services for a selected period of time.
Can I place an order over the phone?
Do you offer a discount for multiple installations?
Yes, we offer discounts for multiple installations depending on the work required to be carried out during the service.
Do you price match?
Aerialforce does offer a competitive price match service that aims to beat quoted prices by other reputable RDI-LB registered Aerial companies, providing the price installation is done on a ‘like for like’ basis.
The original estimate must be presented to Aerialforce prior to any works being carried out.
We will not accept verbal estimates, or those presented after services have been rendered.
We reserve the right to not price match/beat a competitor’s quotation should we not deem it an accurate reflection of the services and time required to complete the installation to a satisfactory level and standard.
Why do I have to pay VAT for my service?
Customers will pay standard rates of VAT for services and products as they are VAT elected due to the HMRC requirements. Aerialforce is also a VAT-registered company.
Can I cancel my service once it has been placed?
Customers have the right to cancel their contract within seven calendar days, starting on the day the Notice of Right to Cancel is issued as stated overleaf on your Estimate/invoice. Cancellation should be communicated in writing or by email to our head office or by email to Hello@aerialinstallscotland.co.uk.
Should you send your cancellation notice in writing via post, it is recommended you retain the proof of postage by a certificate of posting, or recorded delivery slip.
Notice of cancellation is deemed to be served as soon as it is posted/sent.
What is your Refund Policy?
Refunds are only offered as part of the distance selling regulations consumer contract which allows customers the right to cancel their service or product within a 14-day cancellation period. The cancellation period starts from the confirmation date of the service booking or order.
Aerialforce reserves the right to apply charges for both labour and consumables which can not be re-used.
We do not refund parts that fall within the the 1 Year Warranty. However, Aerialforce will replace any part fitted that becomes faulty which is included in our Warranty Terms and Conditions.
The part you installed is faulty, what should I do?
In the unlikely event that you have found a faulty part after your installation, you can contact our customer service team who can arrange for an engineer to repair your installation.
What should I do if I’ve been overcharged for my service?
If you have been overcharged for your installation or repair service, we recommend contacting our customer service team. Our team will be able to investigate your query to see whether an overcharged payment has been made, whilst we will refund you the difference.
What happens if I cancel my service prior to the expiry of the cancellation period?
By signing a written estimate, you agree work will commence before the seven-day cancellation period expires, and should you subsequently cancel in accordance with your rights, you are advised that reasonable payment may be due for any work carried out.
